Job Description: Confined Space Man

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Confined Space Man to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas Construction sector. This role is crucial for ensuring workplace safety in confined spaces, adhering to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols, and minimizing risks in high-risk environments. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in confined space operations, safety compliance, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform confined space entry and exit procedures in compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor and assess hazardous conditions in confined spaces, including gas levels, oxygen deficiency, and other potential risks.
• Operate and maintain safety equipment such as gas detectors, ventilation systems, and personal protective gear.
• Assist in emergency rescue operations within confined spaces, following company and industry standards.
• Conduct pre-entry safety briefings and ensure all personnel follow strict HSE guidelines.
• Document and report safety incidents, near misses, and equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with the HSE team to implement corrective measures and improve safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations in the Oil & Gas sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience working in confined spaces within the Oil & Gas or Construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and HSE guidelines for confined spaces.
• Ability to operate gas detection and ventilation equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergencies.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments.

Education & Certifications:

• ITI certification or equivalent in a related technical field.
• Certification in Confined Space Entry & Rescue (preferred).
• HSE certification (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent) is a plus.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in confined space operations.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas Construction is highly desirable.

Work Environment

This role requires working in high-risk environments, including oil refineries, pipelines, and construction sites in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The candidate must be prepared for physically demanding tasks, adverse weather conditions, and adherence to strict safety measures.
