Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Engineer (Civil/Mech) with 3-5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industry. The ideal candidate will oversee construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, timelines, and technical specifications. This role is based in Muscat, Oman and requires hands-on expertise in civil and mechanical construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities for Oil & Gas projects.
• Review technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Monitor project progress, budget adherence, and resource allocation.
• Conduct site inspections to identify and resolve construction-related issues.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Prepare progress reports, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
• Manage materials procurement and quality control checks.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and construction teams.
• Implement best practices in civil and mechanical construction.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of proven experience in construction engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of civil and mechanical construction techniques.
• Familiarity with industry software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP, Primavera).

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in project planning and execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of HSE and quality assurance protocols.
