Construction Manager – Civil/Mech

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager – Civil/Mech to oversee and manage construction activities for our prestigious ARAMCO project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in civil and mechanical construction within the Oil & Gas industry, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all civil and mechanical construction activities on-site.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve any construction-related issues or delays promptly.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and construction standards.
• Prepare and submit project reports, including cost estimations and progress reviews.
• Train and mentor junior construction staff and laborers.
• Liaise with clients, government authorities, and other external parties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in civil and mechanical construction management within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and safety regulations.
• Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and contracts.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in construction management, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Prior experience working on ARAMCO projects is a plus.
