Key Responsibilities

As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities for Oil & Gas projects. Your duties will include:

• Supervising and coordinating construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project completion as per specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Reviewing project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet deadlines and cost targets.
• Conducting site inspections and daily progress reports to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth execution.
• Managing material procurement, equipment deployment, and workforce allocation.
• Implementing risk management strategies to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5-10 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), and safety protocols.
• Leadership: Strong team management and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies and enforce quality control measures.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of working in harsh environmental conditions typical of Oil & Gas construction sites.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be an advantage:

• Certification in OSHA, NEBOSH, or other safety management programs.
• Experience working on large-scale refinery, pipeline, or offshore projects.
• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and permitting processes.
