About the Role

H.R. International is seeking a highly skilled Control Panels Technician to join our Operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical for ensuring the efficient assembly, installation, and maintenance of control panels for our Oil & Gas / Engineering & Construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in wiring and electrical systems, along with a strong technical background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and maintain control panels for industrial applications.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Perform wiring, soldering, and termination of electrical components.
  • Test and troubleshoot control panels to ensure proper functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in the development of wiring and assembly procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in control panel assembly and wiring.
  • Experience with electrical components such as relays, switches, and circuit breakers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety protocols (OSHA, IEC, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of instrumentation and automation systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high precision in work.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Time management to meet project deadlines.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Diploma or Graduation in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in control panel wiring and maintenance.
  • Prior experience in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction sectors preferred.

Work Environment & Benefits

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role may require occasional overtime and travel to project sites.
