Key Responsibilities
As a Convoy Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of materials, equipment, and personnel across project sites. Your duties will include:
- Leading and coordinating convoy movements in compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Conducting pre-departure checks to ensure vehicles and equipment meet regulatory requirements.
- Managing communication between convoy teams and project stakeholders.
- Implementing risk mitigation strategies during transit in high-risk zones.
- Training and mentoring junior convoy staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Maintaining detailed logs of convoy operations, incidents, and maintenance reports.
- Liaising with local authorities and security teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education & Experience
- Doctorate degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in convoy leadership within the Oil & Gas Construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale logistics operations.
Skills & Competencies
