Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Indian Cook to prepare authentic Indian cuisine in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Indian cooking, with a deep understanding of spices, flavors, and traditional cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, tandoori items, and regional specialties.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
• Follow standardized recipes while also contributing creative menu ideas.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Manage ingredient inventory and assist with procurement when necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Adapt cooking methods to accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in cooking a wide range of Indian dishes.
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
• Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.

Education & Experience:

• A Doctorate in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred.
• 1-3 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in Indian cuisine.
• Certification in food safety and hygiene is a plus.
