Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Control Engineer to join our client's engineering team in Jubail. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring project costs, analyzing financial data, and ensuring budget adherence in large-scale construction projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in cost management within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project cost control systems to track expenditures and budgets.
• Analyze cost variances and provide actionable recommendations to project managers.
• Prepare regular financial reports, forecasts, and cost performance analyses.
• Collaborate with procurement and project teams to optimize resource allocation.
• Review contractor invoices and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
• Monitor project progress and adjust cost estimates as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cost control, quantity surveying, or financial analysis within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, SAP).
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
