Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Costing and Estimation Engineer to join our client's team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the Construction industry, specializing in estimation and costing for large-scale projects. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and proposals to develop detailed cost breakdowns.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather necessary data for cost estimation.
• Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate cost overruns.
• Monitor project expenditures and compare them against estimated costs to ensure financial control.
• Review and validate subcontractor and vendor quotations for accuracy.
• Stay updated with industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to refine estimation processes.
• Prepare and present cost reports to senior management for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies in all costing activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar tools).
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Expertise in quantity take-off and cost modeling.
• Experience with tendering and bid preparation processes.
