Crane Operator Job in Dubai – Construction Industry (Full-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in safe crane operation, ensuring efficient and secure handling of heavy materials on-site. This role is critical to maintaining productivity and adhering to strict safety standards in our Electrical Maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various types of cranes (e.g., mobile, tower, overhead) safely and efficiently.
• Inspect cranes and rigging equipment daily to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Lift, move, and position heavy loads as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with ground crews and signalers to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents.
• Maintain accurate logs of crane operations and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major faults to the maintenance team.
• Adhere to project timelines while prioritizing safety and precision.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proven expertise in safe crane operation with 3-5 years of experience.
• Ability to interpret load charts and rigging plans.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and local safety regulations.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Education & Certification:

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Valid UAE crane operator certification/license (preferred).
• First Aid and Safety Training certification (a plus).

Working Conditions

• Full-time position with standard working hours (subject to project demands).
• Primarily outdoor work in construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Must be physically capable of climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Strict adherence to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
