AMHEC is seeking a skilled Cranes & Earth Moving Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy construction equipment such as cranes, bulldozers, excavators, and loaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on cranes, earthmoving, and heavy construction equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Replace or repair defective parts, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OEM maintenance standards.
- Maintain detailed service records and reports for equipment maintenance history.
- Collaborate with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime.
- Test equipment performance post-repair to confirm operational efficiency.
- Assist in sourcing and ordering spare parts as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Proven expertise in maintenance and repair of heavy equipment (cranes, excavators, bulldozers, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing heavy construction equipment.
- Certification from a recognized technical institute is a plus.
