Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cranes & Heavy Equipment Tire Fitter to join our Equipment Service team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role with AMHEC involves servicing, maintaining, and fitting tires for heavy machinery, cranes, and industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities
As a Cranes & Heavy Equipment Tire Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, repair, and maintenance of tires on heavy-duty machinery. Your duties will include:
- Inspecting, mounting, and dismounting tires on cranes, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
- Performing tire balancing, alignment, and pressure checks.
- Diagnosing tire wear patterns and recommending solutions.
- Operating specialized tire-fitting machinery for large industrial tires.
- Conducting on-site repairs and emergency tire replacements.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of tire inventory and service logs.
- Collaborating with maintenance teams to schedule proactive tire services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in tire fitting & balancing for heavy machinery.
- Experience with industrial tire repair techniques.
- Strong knowledge of tire pressure management for large equipment.
- Ability to operate hydraulic jacks, bead breakers, and torque wrenches.
- Understanding of tire tread patterns and wear analysis.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy tires (50+ kg) and work in demanding conditions.
Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Certification in heavy equipment tire servicing is a plus.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in crane and heavy equipment tire maintenance.
- Familiarity with international safety regulations (OSHA, ISO standards).
