CS/SS Welders (Multi) – Full-Time Job Opportunity

About the Role

Asiapower Overseas Employment Services is seeking skilled CS/SS Welders (Multi) to join our team in Muscat, Oman. This full-time position is critical within the Oil & Gas Construction industry, ensuring high-quality welding operations to meet industry standards and project specifications.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of welding experience, proficiency in carbon steel (CS) and stainless steel (SS) welding techniques, and a strong commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on carbon steel (CS) and stainless steel (SS) materials using various techniques.
• Interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Operate welding equipment, including TIG, MIG, and Stick welders, with precision.
• Conduct quality inspections on welded joints to meet industry and company standards.
• Follow strict safety protocols to minimize risks in the Oil & Gas Construction environment.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure all welds pass inspection criteria.
• Maintain welding equipment and report any malfunctions or defects.
• Adhere to project timelines and work efficiently under supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Graduation or Diploma in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification in CS/SS Multi Welding from a recognized institution.
• Additional certifications in welding safety and inspection (preferred).

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in CS/SS welding within the Oil & Gas or heavy construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Experience working with Quality Control teams to ensure compliance with welding standards.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Knowledge of welding codes (ASME, AWS, API).
• Ability to operate oxy-acetylene cutting and plasma cutting tools.
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and best practices.

Working Conditions

• Location: On-site in Muscat, Oman (No remote work).
• Shift: Full-time, with potential overtime based on project demands.
• Environment: Industrial/Oil & Gas Construction sites with exposure to high temperatures and noise.
• Safety Gear: Must comply with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
