Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the petrochemical or oil & gas industry. This is an on-site role requiring strong analytical skills and expertise in transforming raw data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from operational systems to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making for the Operations team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• Identify areas for operational improvement based on data insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple platforms.
• Implement predictive models to forecast production, demand, and resource allocation.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data analytics tools and techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) used in the petrochemical industry.
• Ability to work with large datasets and databases.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
