Key Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at Axi, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing data infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow across our platforms. Your primary duties will include:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for processing and transforming large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources into a unified system.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for high performance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to support analytics and reporting.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to minimize downtime.
- Work with Python and related frameworks to build robust data solutions.
- Document data architecture, workflows, and processes for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and scripting.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Previous experience in the FinTech, Trading, or Supply Chain industry.
Education & Experience:
- Education Level: Graduation/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years in a data engineering or related role.
