Key Responsibilities
As a Design Engineer, your primary duties will include:
- Creating and modifying detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop aerospace components and systems.
- Performing simulations and stress analysis to validate design integrity.
- Preparing technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participating in design reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Troubleshooting design issues and proposing effective solutions.
- Assisting in prototyping, testing, and production support.
- Documenting design processes, revisions, and project milestones.
- Staying updated with the latest advancements in aerospace manufacturing and CAD technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and simulation tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Familiarity with aerospace standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- ITI, Diploma, BE, or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
