Dish Washer - Full Time Position

Job Overview

ASMACS is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Dish Washer to join our catering team in The Pearl, Doha, Qatar. This full-time position is critical to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

As a Dish Washer, you will ensure all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly to support seamless catering services. This role is essential for maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans by hand or using commercial dishwashers.
• Ensure all kitchenware is cleaned, sanitized, and stored according to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and countertops.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks when required.
• Dispose of waste properly and adhere to recycling protocols.
• Monitor and refill cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report malfunctioning equipment or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain a hazard-free environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Education Level: Doctorate (preferred but not mandatory for this role).
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in dishwashing, kitchen assistance, or a related role.
• Prior experience in catering, hospitality, or facility management is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 25 kg).
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.

Working Conditions

• Job Type: Full-time.
• Remote Work: No – On-site at The Pearl, Doha.
• Shift: Rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Salary Range: 2-4 LPA (QAR equivalent based on experience).
