We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Document Controller – QA/QC to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time role within the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry, focusing on managing and maintaining project documentation to ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards.

Key Responsibilities
As a Document Controller – QA/QC, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and security of all project documentation. Your duties will include:
- Manage and maintain all QA/QC documentation, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Organize, file, and archive project documents, including drawings, reports, and inspection records.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely document submissions and approvals.
- Implement and maintain document control procedures in line with ISO and other regulatory requirements.
- Track document revisions, ensuring version control and accurate distribution.
- Prepare and distribute reports on document status, approvals, and discrepancies.
- Ensure all documents are properly labeled, indexed, and stored in both digital and physical formats.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Train team members on document control processes and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: Graduation or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in document control, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or similar).
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other QA/QC standards.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered an advantage:
- Certification in Document Control or Records Management.
- Experience working in the UAE Oil & Gas sector.
- Knowledge of Arabic language (written and spoken).
