Job Summary
Al-Indad Recruitment Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Duct Fabricator / Insulator to join our dynamic construction team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves the fabrication, installation, and insulation of HVAC ductwork systems to ensure optimal performance in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge in HVAC systems, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal to fabricate HVAC ductwork according to blueprints and specifications.
- Assemble and install duct sections, fittings, and components to ensure airtight and efficient HVAC systems.
- Apply insulation materials to ductwork to enhance thermal efficiency and comply with industry standards.
- Operate fabrication tools such as shears, rollers, and welding equipment with precision.
- Inspect installed systems for leaks, structural integrity, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Document work progress and report any issues to supervisors for resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of HVAC ductwork installation and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in using metalworking tools (e.g., shears, drills, welding machines).
- Familiarity with insulation materials and application methods.
Soft Skills
- Attention to detail and precision in fabrication work.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management to meet project deadlines.
Education & Experience
- Education Level: Doctorate (preferred, but not mandatory for skilled candidates).
- Experience Level: 0-1 year in HVAC, construction, or a related field.
- Certification in HVAC systems or metal fabrication is a plus.
Work Environment
This role is based on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves physical labor in industrial or commercial construction sites. Candidates must be prepared to work in varying weather conditions and adhere to strict safety protocols. Protective gear (e.g., gloves, helmets, goggles) will be provided.
