Duct Technician – Maintenance

Job Description

H.R. International is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Duct Technician – Maintenance to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of duct systems within our Oil & Gas and Engineering & Construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in fabrication and maintenance, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on duct systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair ductwork and related equipment in compliance with industry standards.
• Fabricate and install duct systems as per project specifications and blueprints.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify faults and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize duct system efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including repairs and replacements.
• Operate tools and machinery safely and effectively for fabrication and installation tasks.
• Assist in the commissioning of new duct systems and modifications to existing systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians as needed.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of proven experience as a Duct Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Prior experience in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industry is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in fabrication, installation, and maintenance of duct systems.
• Strong knowledge of duct materials, tools, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and airflow dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina to work in demanding environments and lift heavy equipment.
