About the Role

Key Responsibilities

As a Duct Technician, your primary duties will include:

• Measuring, cutting, and fabricating ductwork using various materials (sheet metal, fiberglass, etc.).
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC duct systems in commercial and residential buildings.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ensuring duct systems comply with safety standards and performance requirements.
• Performing regular inspections and troubleshooting ductwork issues.
• Collaborating with engineers and other technicians on project specifications.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in optimal condition.
• Adhering to workplace safety protocols and guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Education: Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in duct fabrication and installation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with duct materials, hand/power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to understand and follow technical drawings.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable working in physically demanding environments (e.g., heights, confined spaces).
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of occupational safety regulations.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills will be considered an advantage:

• Certification in HVAC or ductwork fabrication.
• Prior experience in Facility Management or Maintenance Services.
• Familiarity with automated duct fabrication machinery.
• Proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written).
