Key Responsibilities
As a Ductile Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining ductile plumbing systems in commercial and residential construction projects. Your duties will include:
- Installing and repairing ductile iron pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Testing plumbing systems for leaks and other issues.
- Collaborating with construction teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Providing cost estimates for plumbing projects.
- Troubleshooting and resolving plumbing issues efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in ductile plumbing or related field.
- ITI certification in Plumbing or equivalent vocational training.
- Strong knowledge of ductile iron pipe systems and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
- Familiarity with plumbing codes and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical stamina to handle manual labor and work in varying conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Work Environment
This role requires on-site work in construction sites across Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You may need to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials. Safety gear and protocols will be provided.
