Job Overview

F. Gheewala Human Resource Consultants is seeking a skilled Ductman/Duct Fabricator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in fabrication, particularly in HVAC or interior design industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing ductwork systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and fabricate sheet metal to construct ductwork according to specifications.
• Assemble and install HVAC ducts, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Inspect fabricated ductwork for quality, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Operate fabrication tools and machinery, such as shears, rollers, and welding equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to workplace safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged or improperly installed duct systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in metal fabrication techniques (cutting, bending, welding).
• Knowledge of HVAC ductwork systems and installation procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with fabrication tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Graduation in a relevant field (Mechanical, HVAC, or Sheet Metal Fabrication).
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in duct fabrication or related roles.
• Prior work in the interior design or HVAC industry is a plus.
