Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled E&I Engineer (FG01705) to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time position is within the Oil & Gas industry, specifically in the Mechanical Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and a strong background in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering.

Salary Range: 15-20 LPA (based on experience and qualifications).

Job Responsibilities

The E&I Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for Oil & Gas projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors.
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and schematics for project deliverables.
• Assist in the procurement of E&I equipment and materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Apply Machine Learning techniques to optimize system performance and predictive maintenance.
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover of E&I systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

• Graduation/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in E&I engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in designing and troubleshooting electrical systems, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning applications in industrial automation or predictive maintenance is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC, NEC, API, and ATEX.
• Experience with AutoCAD, ETAP, or other engineering design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position based in Abu Dhabi City, UAE. The role may require occasional travel to project sites or client locations within the region. Candidates must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
