Key Responsibilities and Duties

As an Electrical Designer at HR GLOBAL REACH, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, supporting the design and implementation of electrical systems for various construction projects. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Assisting senior engineers in the preparation of detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Supporting the design of power distribution systems, lighting systems, and other low-voltage systems for commercial and residential construction projects.
• Performing basic calculations for project requirements, including load calculations, voltage drop, and equipment sizing under supervision.
• Reviewing and verifying design drawings to ensure they meet industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Collaborating with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure electrical designs are integrated seamlessly with other building systems.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including bills of materials (BOM), specification sheets, and design reports.
• Participating in site visits and surveys to gather information for design development and to verify existing conditions.
• Staying updated on relevant electrical codes, standards, and new technologies in the construction and design industry.
• Contributing to a safe working environment by adhering to all company and site safety protocols.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

To be successful in this Electrical Designer role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Education & Formal Training

• An ITI certificate in Electrical, Electronics, or a directly related technical field is required.

Experience & Technical Proficiency

• 0-1 Year of experience in a technical role, preferably related to electrical design, drafting, or building services.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP) is a significant advantage.
• A solid understanding of basic electrical engineering principles and concepts.
• Exposure to building codes and standards relevant to the construction industry in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
