Electrical Engineer - Maintenance (Poultry/Hatchery Industry)

About the Role

Master Overseas Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Maintenance Department in the Poultry/Hatchery Industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical system maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency and safety within our facilities. This role requires a proactive professional with a strong background in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in poultry and hatchery operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., NFPA, IEC).
• Design, implement, and optimize electrical control systems for automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Supervise junior technicians and provide technical guidance.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for electrical components.
• Conduct energy audits and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in electrical engineering and poultry automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical system maintenance, including motors, PLCs, and control panels.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with poultry/hatchery equipment (e.g., incubators, feeders, ventilation systems).
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.

Education & Experience

• Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the poultry/hatchery industry.
• Certifications in electrical safety or automation (e.g., OSHA, PLC programming) are a plus.

Job Location & Work Environment
