HR GLOBAL REACH is seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Gas industry. This full-time role, based in Kuwait City, involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all electrical installations adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components.
- Document work performed, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.
- Operate and maintain testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in electrical installations, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Effective communication skills.
Work Environment
This role is based in Kuwait City and requires on-site presence. The job involves working in industrial settings, including outdoor and confined spaces. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to strict safety guidelines and may need to work in shifts or overtime as required.
