Electrical Inspector – Oil & Gas Construction (Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Inspector to join our Quality Control (QC) team in the Oil & Gas Construction sector. Based in Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this role focuses on ensuring all electrical installations comply with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA/QC standards, with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical inspection, particularly in large-scale construction projects within the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Verify that installations adhere to QA/QC protocols, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Review electrical designs, blueprints, and schematics to confirm alignment with project requirements.
• Conduct tests on electrical systems, including insulation resistance, continuity, and voltage checks.
• Document inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to resolve electrical discrepancies.
• Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with schedules and safety guidelines.
• Ensure all electrical materials and equipment meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international electrical codes and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or Graduation in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Inspector in the Oil & Gas Construction industry.
• Proven expertise in QA/QC standards and electrical safety protocols.
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, IEC, and other relevant electrical codes.
• Experience with electrical inspection software and reporting tools.

Soft Skills

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• This role is on-site in Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with no remote work options.
• Frequent site visits and inspections in outdoor or industrial environments.
• Must be capable of lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces when necessary.
• Exposure to noise, extreme temperatures, and hazardous conditions typical in Oil & Gas Construction sites.
