Job Description: Electrical Supervisors (Nuclear Energy/Power Generation)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the nuclear energy and power generation sector. This full-time position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and offers a competitive salary of 30+ LPA. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in electrical supervision, with a diploma or graduation in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee critical electrical systems, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and lead a team of skilled technicians in a fast-paced nuclear energy environment. This role is pivotal in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our power generation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in nuclear power plants.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards, regulations, and nuclear energy protocols.
• Manage a team of electricians and technicians, providing technical guidance and performance evaluations.
• Oversee troubleshooting of electrical equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to implement electrical upgrades and modifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels of electrical components and coordinate procurement as needed.
• Train junior staff on safety procedures, technical skills, and nuclear energy best practices.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

• 5-10 years of proven experience in electrical supervision, preferably in nuclear energy or power generation.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, switchgear, and electrical distribution networks.
• Familiarity with nuclear power plant operations and safety protocols is highly desirable.

Skills

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-stakes environment.
• Knowledge of industry-standard software for electrical design and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in electrical safety or nuclear energy operations.
• Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Abu Dhabi or the UAE.
• Prior exposure to international safety standards like OSHA, IEC, or IEEE.

Work Environment

This role is based in Abu Dhabi City and requires on-site presence at our nuclear power generation facilities. The work environment involves exposure to high-voltage equipment, stringent safety protocols, and occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
