Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Technician in our poultry and hatchery facility, you will be responsible for:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and ensuring minimal downtime in operations.
• Performing preventive maintenance on electrical panels, motors, and control systems.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborating with the maintenance team to optimize electrical efficiency.
• Conducting inspections and tests to diagnose malfunctions.
• Responding to emergency breakdowns and providing timely resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for the Electrical Technician role, candidates must possess the following:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in electrical wiring, circuit boards, and control systems.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and electrical testing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to work with high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with poultry/hatchery equipment (e.g., incubators, feeders, ventilation systems) is a plus.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or agricultural setting.
• Certifications in electrical safety or advanced training will be an advantage.
