Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our growing manufacturing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to electrical systems and equipment. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in industrial and manufacturing settings.
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and control panels for faults.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and repair or replace damaged parts.
• Follow blueprints, electrical codes, and safety regulations to ensure compliance.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance system longevity.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to implement electrical upgrades and modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies and OSHA safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Education: ITI Certification in Electrical or equivalent trade qualification.
• Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical installations, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical codes, safety protocols, and OSHA standards.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in following technical diagrams and specifications.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of working in physically demanding environments, including climbing ladders and lifting heavy equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered an advantage:

• Experience with PLC systems and automation.
• Previous work in the UAE or GCC region.
• Additional certifications in advanced electrical training or safety courses.
