Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and certified Electrician with 1-3 years of experience to join our Electrical Engineering team in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in compliance with industry standards. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires an ITI certification with expertise in electrical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, control systems, and equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, transformers, and switchgear.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure electrical systems meet operational requirements.
• Ensure all work complies with local, national, and international electrical codes and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Operate hand and power tools safely to complete electrical projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• ITI certification in Electrical Trade or equivalent.
• Valid electrician license preferred.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, including motors, transformers, and distribution panels.
• Proven ability in maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical components.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in using electrical testing and measurement devices.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Work Environment

This position is on-site in Al Malaz, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role may involve working in challenging environments, including outdoor locations and confined spaces. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to strict safety protocols and work flexible hours if required.
