Job Responsibilities

The Electronic Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing electronic systems used in agricultural machinery and equipment. Key duties include:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic malfunctions in agricultural equipment.
• Performing preventive maintenance on automated systems, sensors, and control panels.
• Installing and configuring new electronic components and systems.
• Reading and interpreting technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Collaborating with engineers and operators to enhance system efficiency.
• Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
• Providing training to staff on basic electronic troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electronic circuits, PLCs, and control systems.
• Experience working with agricultural machinery (e.g., irrigation systems, harvesters, sensors).
• Familiarity with soldering, wiring, and multimeter testing.
• Basic knowledge of automation and IoT in agriculture.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and precision in electronic repairs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills (English/Arabic is a plus).

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or graduation in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Electronic Technician.
• Prior experience in the agriculture sector is preferred.
