Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our Electrical Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment and systems in compliance with industry standards. This role ensures the smooth operation of critical equipment in the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic equipment and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electronic components and circuits.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize system performance.
• Document maintenance activities and generate reports as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electronic systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of electrical codes and safety protocols.
• Ability to work with schematics and technical documentation.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in electronic maintenance, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Certification in electronics or a related discipline is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
