About the Role
Dewan Consultants is seeking a skilled ELV Technician to join our Facilities Management team in Downtown Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across our client facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and structured cabling
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on ELV systems
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in ELV infrastructure
- Coordinate with other technical teams for integrated system operations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system configurations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
- Respond to emergency service calls and system outages
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience with ELV systems installation and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with structured cabling and network infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Basic understanding of IP networks and telecommunications
- Proficiency with testing and diagnostic equipment

- Time management and organizational skills
Education & Certification:
- Diploma or Graduation in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field

This is a full-time on-site position based in Downtown Dubai. The role requires:
- Working in various facility environments (commercial, residential, mixed-use)
- Occasional overtime and emergency call-outs
- Physical ability to lift equipment and work at heights
- Interaction with clients and other technical teams
