Engineer E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time role is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical and instrumentation systems, including instrumentation loop checking & calibration.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation loop checking and calibration of field instruments such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, control valves, and temperature sensors.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation faults in industrial systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance and reliability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, tests, and calibration reports.
• Provide technical support for maintenance and project teams.
• Assist in the commissioning of new equipment and modifications to existing systems.
• Monitor electrical systems for efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in instrumentation loop checking & calibration.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and PLCs.
• Experience with DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEC, ISA, API, NEC).
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and loop diagrams.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Education & Experience

• Graduation/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector.
• Certification in instrumentation or electrical safety is a plus.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is 5-8 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum), based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits may include:
