Piping Engineer – Oil & Gas Projects (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Piping Engineer to join our dynamic team at NSH in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for supporting our Oil & Gas projects, ensuring efficient piping design, installation, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in interpreting Isometric and P&ID drawings within the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and Isometric drawings for project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, construction) to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Assist in the development of piping layouts, material specifications, and stress analysis reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, ANSI, API) and company best practices.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of piping system issues during construction and commissioning phases.
• Review vendor documentation and technical submittals for accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Participate in site inspections and quality control checks for piping installations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Piping Engineering within the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industries.
• Proficiency in interpreting Isometric and P&ID drawings.
• Familiarity with piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, CAESAR II) is a plus.

Technical Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of piping materials, stress analysis, and fabrication standards.
• Understanding of ASME B31.3, ANSI, and API codes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
