Job Overview
NSH (Nasser S. Al Hajri Corporation) is seeking an experienced Engineer - Planning to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical for ensuring efficient project scheduling, resource allocation, and timeline management within our Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in project planning, with a strong background in engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present progress reports, Gantt charts, and other planning documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments and contingency planning to mitigate schedule disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization and project efficiency.
- Support cost control efforts by aligning schedules with budget constraints.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards and practices.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in project planning, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Familiarity with construction and engineering project lifecycles.
