Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Engineer (Rotating Equipment) to join our dynamic Engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time role requiring 3-5 years of experience in equipment inspection and maintenance within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of rotating machinery.

Key Responsibilities

As an Engineer (Rotating Equipment), your primary duties will include:

• Conducting routine and ad-hoc inspections of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and recommending corrective actions to prevent downtime.
• Collaborating with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and optimal equipment performance.
• Reviewing and updating maintenance procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Analyzing equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Preparing detailed inspection reports and presenting findings to management.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Assisting in the procurement of spare parts and liaising with vendors.
• Participating in risk assessments and failure analysis studies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in inspecting and maintaining rotating equipment in Oil & Gas settings.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and failure analysis.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ISO, and ASME.
• Experience with condition monitoring tools and techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, etc.).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Education & Experience

• Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in rotating equipment inspection within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., API 510/570) will be an advantage.
