Key Responsibilities
As an Engineer SCM, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring cost-effective procurement, and optimizing logistics processes. Your key duties include:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships, including procurement negotiations and contract management.
- Oversee logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all supply chain activities.
- Coordinate with international suppliers and logistics providers to optimize shipping and delivery schedules.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Utilize ERP and SCM software to track orders, shipments, and inventory levels.
- Prepare reports on supply chain performance, cost savings, and process improvements.
