About the Role
NSH (Nasser S. Al Hajri Corporation) is seeking a skilled Tank Engineer to join our Engineering Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position within the Oil & Gas / Engineering & Construction industry, requiring expertise in structural fabrication planning and related engineering disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and a strong background in designing, analyzing, and maintaining storage tanks used in oil and gas projects. This role offers a competitive salary range of 5-8 LPA and is based in the vibrant Al Olaya district of Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and oversee the construction of storage tanks for oil and gas projects
- Develop and implement structural fabrication plans for tank systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations (API, ASME, etc.)
- Conduct stress analysis and finite element modeling for tank structures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including civil, mechanical, and process engineers
- Perform quality control inspections during fabrication and installation
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues related to tank systems
- Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of engineering solutions
- Participate in hazard and operability studies (HAZOP) for tank systems
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Specialization in structural engineering or pressure vessel design preferred
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in tank engineering or related structural engineering roles
- Proven experience in structural fabrication planning for oil and gas projects
- Hands-on experience with tank design software (STAAD Pro, PV Elite, etc.)
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and procedures is a plus
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of API 650, API 620, and ASME Section VIII standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
- Understanding of welding procedures and non-destructive testing methods
- Knowledge of corrosion protection systems for storage tanks
- Ability to interpret geotechnical reports for foundation design

Work Environment
