Estimation Engineer – Aerospace Industry (Fresher)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our Aerospace Engineering team at Unimech. This full-time position is ideal for freshers (0-1 year experience) with strong analytical skills and a diploma or graduation in engineering. The role involves estimating costs, materials, and timeframes for aerospace projects to support seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities

As an Estimation Engineer, your daily tasks will include:

• Analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and technical documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for aerospace components and assemblies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, production) to gather data and validate estimates.
• Utilizing industry-standard software/tools to calculate material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance.
• Preparing detailed reports and presenting estimates to stakeholders.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and market trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

Technical Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of aerospace engineering principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel or estimation software (training provided).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Education & Experience

• Diploma/Graduation in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
• 0-1 year of experience in estimation, cost analysis, or a related field (internships/projects accepted).

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Time management and organizational skills.
