Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

• Analyze and meticulously review construction project blueprints, specifications, and related documents to understand the full project scope.

• Source and collect price quotes from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for materials and services.
• Utilize estimation software and spreadsheets to compile data and create structured, clear estimate reports.
• Assist in the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and other tender documentation.
• Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings to gather essential information for the estimation process.
• Maintain and update a database of material costs, labor rates, and other key estimation metrics.
• Perform risk and contingency analysis on estimates to identify potential financial uncertainties.
• Work closely with the procurement and planning departments to ensure estimate alignment with project schedules and resource availability.
