Key Responsibilities
As an Estimation Manager – Civil/Mech, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for civil and mechanical construction projects
- Conducting detailed cost estimation for materials, labor, and equipment
- Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and tender documents
- Collaborating with engineering and procurement teams for cost-effective solutions
- Analyzing subcontractor and vendor quotations for bid evaluations
- Ensuring compliance with ARAMCO standards and project requirements
- Managing risk assessment and mitigation strategies in estimates
- Presenting cost reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Overseeing the preparation of competitive and profitable bids
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and cost estimation for civil/mechanical projects
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., CostX, CCS Candy, or similar tools)
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas Construction industry standards and practices
- Familiarity with ARAMCO project requirements and tendering process
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in estimation for large-scale projects
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas Construction or related industries
- Proven track record in managing bids for ARAMCO or similar projects
