About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Cost Control & Contracts professional to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is critical in ensuring cost efficiency, budget adherence, and contract compliance within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in budget tracking, contract management, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage cost control systems to monitor project budgets and expenditures.
  • Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast costs and identify potential financial risks.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, variance analyses, and cost forecasts for senior management.
  • Negotiate and review vendor contracts to optimize cost savings and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure accurate financial documentation and audit readiness for all projects.
  • Leverage financial tools and ERP systems to streamline cost tracking and reporting processes.
  • Support procurement and finance teams in evaluating contract terms and pricing structures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Graduation/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in cost control, contract management, or financial planning, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Proficiency in budget tracking, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and industry compliance standards.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
