Executive SCM/Coordinator (FG01710) - Oil & Gas Industry

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive SCM/Coordinator (FG01710) to join our Supply Chain Management team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This critical role in the Oil & Gas industry requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in vendor management and logistics coordination. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors and suppliers in the Oil & Gas sector
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness
• Monitor vendor performance and implement improvement plans as needed
• Conduct regular vendor evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with company standards
• Resolve vendor disputes and manage conflict resolution processes

Logistics Coordination

• Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations for supply chain activities
• Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Track shipments and maintain accurate logistics documentation
• Optimize logistics routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations and customs requirements

Supply Chain Optimization

• Analyze current supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement
• Implement best practices in supply chain management to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess stock
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, logistics efficiency, and cost savings
• Maintain accurate records of all supply chain transactions and documentation
• Develop and present data-driven recommendations to senior management
• Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in vendor management within the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong knowledge of logistics coordination and supply chain best practices
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Education & Experience

• Graduation or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management roles
• Experience working in the Oil & Gas industry is mandatory
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus
