Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Extruder Operator to join our Sales Operations department in the Retail industry. This is a full-time position located in Al Ghubrah, Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in operating extrusion machinery, with a background in Machine Learning and a minimum education level of ITI.

Salary Range: 5-8 LPA

Key Responsibilities

As an Extruder Operator, your primary duties will include:

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery to ensure efficient production.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet industry standards.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Data Analysis: Utilize Machine Learning techniques to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production metrics, maintenance logs, and quality reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Education: ITI certification or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience as an Extruder Operator or in a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating extrusion machinery and familiarity with Machine Learning applications in manufacturing.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision in production.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered an advantage:

• Experience in the Retail sector or related industries.
• Certification in advanced Machine Learning techniques.
• Knowledge of automation and Industry 4.0 practices.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.

Work Environment

This position is based in Al Ghubrah, Muscat, Oman, and requires on-site presence. The role involves:

• Working in a manufacturing or production facility with exposure to machinery and noise.
• Standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
• Adherence to strict safety protocols and PPE requirements.
