Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to oversee fabrication operations in our Abu Dhabi facility. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction sectors, with strong management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate fabrication activities in alignment with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, welding procedures, and quality control standards.
• Manage fabrication teams, including welders, fitters, and technicians, to optimize productivity.
• Monitor material usage, inventory, and procurement to prevent delays.
• Conduct inspections and tests to maintain quality assurance throughout the fabrication process.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular toolbox meetings to promote a hazard-free workplace.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain accurate documentation for project audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in Engineering, Mechanical, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in fabrication supervision within the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industries.
• Proven track record in managing fabrication teams and large-scale projects.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding standards (ASME, API, AWS), and material properties.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Experience with fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment.

Management & Soft Skills

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
