Fabricator / Inspector Job in Oil & Gas Industry

About the Role

Aman International HR Consultant is seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator / Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical to ensuring the quality and precision of fabricated components in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors. The ideal candidate must have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in fabrication and inspection, along with a strong understanding of industry standards.

As a Fabricator / Inspector, you will be responsible for fabricating metal structures, inspecting finished products, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures, components, and equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections on fabricated parts to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate and maintain fabrication machinery (e.g., welding equipment, CNC machines, grinders).
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve fabrication issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Document inspection results and prepare reports for quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty components as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Diploma or Graduation in Engineering, Mechanical, or a related field.
• Certification in Welding or Fabrication (preferred).
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ASME, API) will be an advantage.

Experience & Technical Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in fabrication and inspection within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques (TIG, MIG, Arc).
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Familiarity with quality control standards (ISO, ASTM).

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills (English proficiency preferred).
