Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Fabricator at AARVI ENCON LIMITED, you will play a crucial role in our Engineering department, ensuring the precision and quality of fabricated structures for Oil & Gas projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Planning and executing structural fabrication tasks in compliance with industry standards.
- Operating and maintaining fabrication machinery, including welding equipment, cutting tools, and CNC machines.
- Ensuring all fabricated components meet quality, safety, and dimensional accuracy requirements.
- Collaborating with engineers and project managers to optimize fabrication processes.
- Conducting inspections and tests on finished products to ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards.
- Identifying and troubleshooting fabrication issues to minimize downtime and delays.
- Adhering to workplace safety protocols and maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
- Keeping accurate records of fabrication activities, material usage, and project progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:
Technical Skills
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in structural fabrication within the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Hands-on expertise in welding, cutting, grinding, and metal forming techniques.
- Familiarity with fabrication tools, machinery, and quality control measures.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, and API.
Soft Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in fabrication work.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with engineers and supervisors.
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently.
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in welding or fabrication (e.g., AWS, ASNT) is a plus.
